Flat rate mobile Internet packages are available in 3G speed. A 550MB data bundle costs just €5 and is activated through a quick SMS from your phone. Just make sure you have balance available, as the cost for the Internet package is deducted from the balance.

You can add as many data bundles as you like. Each data package is valid for 30 days.

Data SIM Card for Spain

The Data SIM card for Spain is pre-loaded with 1GB data in 3G speed and is ready to use. No activation SMS (or topping up) is needed so it's ideal to use in your dongle/router/tablet/iPad/modem for 30 days from the start of usage.

How long does 1GB data last?

This is a tough question to answer, because it depends on how you use it.

Typically 1GB data lasts for:
4000 emails (no attachments), plus 500 emails with attachments, plus 3000 web pages, plus 200 photos to social media sites, plus 250 hours of Google Navigation usage.

Calls between two travellers in Spain

For each €5 voucher you add to your call balance, you get 90 minutes of calls to travel companions also using a Spanish SIM card from us. If you talk for more than the free minutes, the rate for exceeding time equals that of local calls as stated above. If you are travelling in a party, we recommend that you order Spanish SIMs for all travellers, so that you can make cheap calls between each other on your trip. To achieve this, just dial the local Spanish mobile phone number provided with the Spain SIM card.

If the call balance runs out

Our Spain SIM cards is delivered pre-topped up with €5 call balance, which covers for 90 minutes of talk time to Australia and many other countries. If you need additional top up such as for internet bundles or local calls in Spain, you can buy top-up vouchers online through us or directly from the operator online. You can also buy these in kiosks and supermarkets across Spain.

With the €5 vouchers you can buy from us, you also receive a €2.50 bonus, so that the total amount topped up is €7.50 for each. You also receive a bonus of 90 minutes of calls to travel companions and 50MB free internet access. If you add 3x€5 vouchers you receive €22.50 (3*€7.50). The bonus top up credit can only be used for calls.

The Spain Pay As You Go SIM card is valid for 120 days after the most recent top up.

The Data SIM card for Spain does not need any call balance, as it's pre-loaded with the 1GB data service for 30 days of usage.

Making international calls

Since the call rates for international calls start at just €0,01/min the included call balance lasts for hours of calls to many destinations.

When making international calls using the SIM card for Spain, just dial the number in international format, starting with a + sign followed by the international country code and number without the leading 0 in the area code.

Receive calls in Spain

You receive inbound calls just as usual - free of charge. A Spanish mobile phone number is included, that can be used when people within Spain or travel companions, want to call you. There is no cost for receiving unlimited calls dialled directly to your Spanish number.

90 min/5€ international flat rate call bundle

A 90 minutes flat rate bundle of calls to Romania, Italy, Austria, Germany, UK, Ireland, Holland, Belgium, France, Peru, Venezuela and Poland can be activated through a quick text for €5. The cost for the bundle is deducted from the call balance. The bundle is valid for 10 days from activation, and there is no call connection fee when using a call bundle.

For calls outside the call bundle, the standard rate for international calls is used, plus a call connection fee of €0,29 per call.

The mobile phone operator in Spain uses the Orange network which is one of the biggest network in Spain. Coverage includes all of Spain including for instance Mallorca, Ibiza, Tenerife and Canary Islands.

We take care of SIM Card registration for you

According to country specific regulations the operator requires that a photo copy of your passport is attached in order for them to activate your SIM card. An image upload URL is attached in your order confirmation e-mail.

Once received, we will pass it on to the operator. We will not use it for any other purpose. As soon as your SIM card is activated, the passport image is removed from our system.

We take care of, and process the SIM Card registration for you, so that the SIM card you receive from us is registered and ready to use when you arrive.

- Standard size is used in most phones.
