Mobile Internet 2GB flat rate data included

In the US, data/Internet connectivity may not work for some models of Blackberry. However, making and receiving calls work the same way as for other phones.

Mobile Internet in USA included

Our USA SIM cards come with 2GB flatrate mobile Internet data included (3G speed). Read email and browse the Internet while on holiday!
You can also access Internet through iPad or iPhones and use it as an iPad/tablet SIM Card for Internet usage in the USA. Tethering (Internet sharing to iPad/laptop etc) works for most phones.

Say goodbye to arbitrary per MB fees!

For Blackberry phones, mobile internet is not supported. However voice calling works for Blackberry.

How long does 2GB data last?

This is a tough question to answer, because it depends on how you use it.

Typically 2GB data lasts for:
8000 emails (no attachments), plus 1000 emails with attachments, plus 6000 web pages, plus 400 photos to social media sites, plus 400 hours of Google Navigation usage.

For most travelers - the included data is more than enough.

SIM card validity

The simcard is valid for 30 days from the day of your arrival to the US. If you stay in the US longer than that, you can add optional extra validity for the sim card. Either you buy 30 days refill(s) together with your order of the SIM card on our site so that everything is set for your entire trip, or you can buy them separatly online while in the US. If you decide to top up during your trip, just send us an email after ordering additional top up time, and we will process it for you.

Calls between two travelers in USA using prepaid USA SIM card

Calls between travelers using our US prepaid SIM Cards for smartphones are completely free of charge!
If you are traveling with others, we recommend that you order American Pay As You Go SIM cards for the entire party, so that you can call between each other free of charge during the trip. To do so, just call directly to the local US mobile phone number assigned to each prepaid SIM card. Since calls within the US are free of charge, you can call each other at absolutely no cost if all travelers have one of our prepaid SIM cards for USA!

As a comparison, it could cost up to €5/minute to make calls between two foreign mobile phones using home operator SIM cards, while in the US. This is due to the international roaming costs that apply both to the calling party, and the receiving party of the call. Therefore, just a few minutes of talk time between callers using American prepaid US SIM cards will pay off.

What happens if I run out of call time?

You will no longer be able to make calls, but you will still be able to receive calls and use the data service. You will not receive an invoice, be charged a higher price per minute or receive any other costs.

Calling international using the USA Prepaid SIM card (smartphone)

For international calls, the included $12 international call balance is used. Since the international rates starts at just 1¢/min, $12 lasts for lots of talk time. For instance to 20 hours of talk time to Israel, Switzerland or Australia or 4 hours of talk time to the Netherlands or Spain.

When you want to call home from your American SIM card, just dial 011-countrycode-number and lose the zero in the area code. For example: UK number 07511 223344 becomes 011 44 7511 223344.

Send and receive text(SMS) and MMS messages in the USA

An international text(SMS) message outside the USA deducts 10¢ from the international call balance. If you send international text (SMS) as MMS instead, that is free of charge as international MMS messages are free of charge.

Text(SMS) messages within the USA are always free of charge and does not affect any call balance.

Note that with our prepaid SIM Card for USA, hours of international talk time is already included in the package. Most travelers do not need to top up at all.

Receiving incoming calls (smartphone US SIM card)

Your phone rings. You pick up - just as usual. It's free to receive calls in the USA with our smartphone Pay As You Go SIM Card for USA.

MMS and tethering using iPhone in USA

To use MMS and tethering (internet sharing with other devices over WIFI) on an iPhone in USA, your iPhone must be jailbreaked, and you need to install an app called TetherMe.
However, internet works very well on iPhone in the USA, and the internet settings are set up automatically. Therefore, the easiest alternative to messaging on iPhone is to use Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp or any other messenger for iPhone. Since 2GB data usage is included, the included data lasts for at least 500 000 such messages.

Network coverage in the USA

The US operator uses AT&T's mobile network, which is the largest mobile network in USA, with generally the best overall coverage. Please note that the device that you bring on your trip must cover the American 850Mhz and 1900Mhz GSM frequencies.
